Our family traditions are rooted in our love for God and family, our commitment to the communities we live in and our determination to be a proud, strong and prosperous family unit. The Burney Green Moye Family Reunion Scholarship Fund has long been one of our many successful traditions. It is so wonderful that we honor our family members who have paved the way for us all by pledging to the Scholarship Fund, which supports the future of our family; our children!

With that in mind, we would like to thank everyone for their ongoing commitment to our children’s future and their contributions to the scholarship fund. We encourage you all to continue to support the scholarship fund with your pledges.  Last reunion, we were able to bless a few students from the BGM family with a contribution towards their education. We should take tremendous pride in the fact that we as a family can teach our children not only the importance of education, but also the importance of uplifting one another as a family, which we do with these scholarship funds.

In order to continue in this tradition and support future scholarship recipients, the Scholarship Fund needs to have ongoing support from the family. Pledges made from the past family reunion goes towards the upcoming family reunion scholarships. With that in mind, we ask that all Pledges made at the previous reunion are satisfied in full. In addition, any additional Pledges that you would like to make in advance of the next reunion are certainly welcomed. Please feel free to contact the  Committee with any questions or suggestions.
